• The Thai community in Malta, with the help of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, is holding celebratory activities for the festival of 'Songkran', at the Excelsior Grand Hotel, Floriana, from today until Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Activities aim to promote Thai culture. There will be Thai handicrafts, food, films, Thai boxing, and a classical dance show by Thai dancers in costume, among other things. Admission is free. • The International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope John XXIII is holding its usual evening of prayer for peace and new evangelisation of the world at the church of Our Lady of tal-Ħerba, Birkirkara, on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Mass will be celebrated followed by 20 minutes of adoration.

• A bazaar in aid of Paola parish church will be held at the Paola parish centre, Church Avenue, from Wednesday until April 22 from 9 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• The next group meeting for parents and people involved with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) sufferers organised by the ADHD Family Support Group will be held on Friday at the Junior College, Msida, at 6.30 p.m. There will not be the usual PSD sessions for children aged seven and above with ADHD so participants are asked not to bring their children.
