One of Italy's finest musical exports, Laura Pausini, will be playing live at the Luxol Parade Grounds on July 21.

Organised by NnG promotions, the concert forms part of her world tour in support of her new album Primavera In Anticipo.

Ever since her debut in 1993, Pausini has become one of Italy's better known female artists. Born in 1974, she won the Sanremo festival with La Solitudine in 1993, which paved the way for her success.

Unlike many Italian singers, Pausini's success has not just been limited to Italy, but has seen her strike gold in countries such as France and The Netherlands.

Furthermore, her ability to sing in Spanish has awarded her success in Spanish-speaking countries. She went on to win Best Latin Pop Album at the 2006 Grammy Awards.

Pausini was the first female artist to play at the San Siro Stadium in in front of a crowd of 70,000 spectators. To date she has sold over 27 million albums and over 160 platinum discs.

More details about the concert will be released later this week, though e-mail updates are available through www.nngpromotions.com.
