Giant figolla in Valletta
A 385kg figolla, which took three days to prepare, was gobbled down by passers-by yesterday morning in Valletta's Freedom Square.
The figolla, with a Vodafone Malta logo, had to be moved by a fork-lift truck. Its ingredients included 175kg of sweet pastry, 85kg of almonds and 65kg of sugar paste.
