Reggiana clinch second title in Amsterdam

Ninety-six players, including Malta's Massimo Cremona, Mark Gauci and Derek Conti, took part in last week's Major of Amsterdam tournament in Holland.
In the competition for teams, Italy's Reggiana confirmed their status among the top sides in Europe when they chalked up their second consecutive title after the one in Belgium of last month.
Cremona and Gauci play for Reggiana. In the final they beat Bologna 3-1.
In all, there were 30 teams taking part.
In the singles event, Gauci made it all the way to the semi-finals where he was beaten by Spain's Carlos Flores 7-3. Cremona was ousted in the quarter-finals by Antonio Mettivieri, of Italy, 2-1.
Conti also made it to the KO stages of the individuals competition. However, he lost to Saverio Bari 2-0 in a Last 16 match.
Carlos Flores won the final after beating Eric Verhagen 2-1.
