Middlesea Valletta Life Assurance Company has recently renewed its sponsorship to the Malta Tenpin Bowling Association (MTBA).

The company has been supporting the bowling organisation for the past five years, sponsoring the national leagues which attracts hundreds of bowlers who compete in teams on a weekly basis.

Recently, Joanna Azzopardi, a Middlesea representative, presented various trophies to the most successful teams and individuals of the 2008 league during a ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel.

The MTBA was set up in 1975 by Julian Pace Bonello. He has since remained the president of the association. Today, the MTBA caters for around 400 members.
