Cyprus fighters training in St Julian's

A team of nine fighters from the Cyprus Boxing Federation will be in Malta this week for a short training camp.

Most of the sessions will be held at the Park Towers' Lords Gym in St Julian's which is fully-equipped for boxing purposes.

The visitors will be accompanied by Cyprus Boxing Federation director Chris Arvis.

During their stay, the Cypriot boxers will also practise with the Maltese as the latter continue in their build-up for international competition next month.

This will be the first international venture for Lords Gym under the supervision of club manager Steve Abela and coach Scott Dixon.
