For over a year I have called several times at the Msida council asking for the council's magazine. On different occasions I approached the mayor and a councillor responsible for the elderly and was asked to leave my details for a future copy, which I did. Since then nothing materialised.

I would like to point out that in my locality no postal or other source of distribution of this magazine is ever effected.

On my last call I enquired if the council has a time policy when to expect this publication. No one was able to provide such information and cold indifference was immediately sensed. I have no inkling as to the council's activities undertaken in the recent past and obviously none that's happening at present.

Is it possible that the council is unable to publish its performance in more than a year for the benefit of its constituents? Has this publication seized to exist or what? I consider this attitude as gross inefficiency and a disservice towards the common citizen.

Come June election - vote for whom and what for, pray?
