The 30-month term deposit account denominated in euro recently issued by Bank of Valletta has received a positive response from depositors. The attractive feature of the account is that interest will be paid on a monthly basis and directly credited to customer's current or savings account, thereby offering a constant return to depositors.
The term deposit account had a highly attractive interest rate of 3.25 per cent per annum, offering customers a capital guaranteed account that is spread over a 30 month period for a minimum deposit amount of €5,000.
