David Judd XI no match for Marsa team

Next in was Nadeem Ashraf. He added 19 runs before Khosla left the crease after a 66-run show. Joy Ghoseroy chipped in with 18 not out towards the end of the innings as Marsa totalled 201.

For David Judd's team, Feroz was the main wicket-taker with four.

In their reply, the visitors found the Marsa bowling too hot to handle, losing wickets at critical parts of the innings.

In fact, they could only manage 164 runs.

Stuart was their top scorer with 35 runs.

For Marsa, three bowlers took two wickets each, Khosla,Will Nicholls and Sarfraz Ali.

Before this match, Marsa had played their remaining game against Redbourn.

The home side scored 201 runs from their 45 overs. T. Ascroft top scored with 55 runs not out while John Grima scored 44 and Ali 28.

Redbourn managed to scrape through with a victory thanks to a last-wicket stand between D. Bassill (17) and A. Mauder (33).

Earlier, S. Osman scored 35 runs and C. Yorath 37. For Marsa, Ronnie Sacco was the main wicket-taker with three.

Tomorrow, Marsa play Sydenhurst Ramblers in the first match from a three-game series.
