Obituary
BARBARA. On April 5, at St James Hospital, Sliema, JOSEPH, of Sliema, aged 95, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved and devoted daughters Phena and husband Ray Azzopardi, Anna and husband Salvatore Saddemi, Pat and husband David Anastasi and Greta and husband Anthony Bartolo Parnis, his precious grandchildren, Kurt, Lisa, Karla, Michael, Kevin, Saro, Keith, Andrea and Mark, his sisters Bice wife of Francis Mamo and Rose Borg residing in Australia, in-laws Charles Andrews and Rose Agius, their respective families, nephews and nieces, dedicated helpers Jennifer and Anna, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Hospital, Sliema tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for Our Lady of Mt Carmel parish church in St Julians, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at St James Hospital for their loving care.
DEBONO. On April 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIS, Carmelite Third Order (Secular), of Valletta, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, her children Odette and her husband Joe Cioffi, Mario and Caroline and her husband Joseph Cassar, beloved grandchildren Tiziana and fiancé Wayne, Yendrick, Jurgen and Cleaven, brothers and sisters, in-laws and their spouses and families, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. for Our Lady of Mt Carmel Basilica in Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the passing away of HERBERT GANADO, a Mass will be said tomorrow at 6.30 p.m. at St Patrick's church, Sliema. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

Sacred art in Sliema
Sacred art is on display at the Sliema band club at 34, St Trophimus Street, Sliema until Good Friday.
The exhibition is open between 6 and 8 p.m. on weekdays, 6 to 11 p.m. on Maundy Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Good Friday.
Last Supper table
Good Friday statues and a Last Supper table are being exhibited at the Corradino Correctional Facility until Saturday.
The exhibition is open between 5 and 8 p.m., except on Good Friday when the opening times are 9 a.m. to noon and 5 to 8 p.m.
Holy Week exhibition
A Holy Week exhibition has been set up by the St Joseph the Worker Parish Exhibition Group at the parish centre in Bwieraq Street, Birkirkara.
It is open between 5 and 8 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. and noon and 4 and 11 p.m. on Maundy Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 5.30 p.m. on Good Friday.
Good Friday statues
Good Friday statues by Alfred Camilleri Cauchi are being exhibited at the King's Own Band Club in Republic Street, Valletta until Good Friday.
The exhibition is open between 9 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and 5 and 9 p.m.
Pageant in Żebbuġ
Moments from Jesus' passion will be acted out by the St Philip Pageant Group in St Philip Square, Żebbuġ on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m.
