The speed limit along part of the coast road is being reduced to 30km/h because of road works.

The Transport Authority said the speed limit is being reduced to 30km/hr between the White Rocks Complex and Splash and Fun because of works by Melita plc.

The new limit will apply from Wednesday until further notice.

"The lowering of the speed limit from 70km/hr to 30km/hr for the duration of the works is to ensure the safety of motorists and other vulnerable road users commuting through this particular stretch," the ADT said.
