Blood donation at hotel

Staff at the Intercontinental Hotel, St Julian's, donated blood recently in line with the hotel's ongoing support of the National Blood Transfusion Centre (NBTC).

The Blood Donation Mobile Unit visited the hotel so employees could donate blood with a view to becoming donors on a regular basis.

"We want to make a difference and save the lives of our fellow citizens. We consider the initiative an important part of our corporate social responsibility programme, especially since the National Blood Transfusion Service plays a vital role in the wellbeing and health of our community," said Intercontinental Malta general manager Giuseppe Vincelli.
