• The law does not regulate the amount of deposit the trader can request and how or when the rest of the payments should be carried out. It is a matter to be agreed on by the consumer and the supplier.

• Consumers can claim back the deposit paid only if the supplier fails to adhere to the terms of the contract.

• Consumers who change their mind after paying a deposit cannot legally claim back the deposit paid.
