Top officials from Malta-based RS2 Software plc participated in the Greek Banking Forum held recently in Athens.
The two-day networking event, organised by the Hellenic Institute of Information Technology, highlighted the role of technology in the smooth running of a bank's operations.
Radi El Haj, managing director of ITM, RS2 Software's parent company, chief projects officer David Amato, and chief technical officer Godwin Schembri represented the Malta-based software company.
The forum covered diverse themes, including IT challenges faced by the banking sector, electronic payment systems, IT tools for business innovation, collaboration and content management.
RS2 Software's participation in the annual Greek event fell under the company's strategy to further tap international markets. RS2 is one of the top ten international players in card payment solutions field. Its cutting edge card solution, Bankworks, has witnessed an upward trend in market acceptance. It currently services over 80 banks worldwide.
