Executive management officials of AX Group's The Palace Hotel, Sliema, The Victoria Hotel, Sliema, and Suncrest Hotels, Qawra, recently underwent an intensive training programme to improve customer service further. The training focused on accelerated techniques and state of the art technologies which can be deployed to enhance effective leadership and communication abilities.

Specific skills aimed at empowering leaders and their teams in the various functions of hospitality were also dealt with. Using these skills and other creative solutions will help to enhance customer satisfaction and hospitality in the hotels.

Sessions were led by Esmeralda Micallef Zarafa, head of New Training Dynamics of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) Training Centre. "Training is an ongoing process at AX Holdings," head of administration and human resources Nicholas Saliba said.

"As a group which is heavily involved in the hospitality industry, customer skills training is an integral and core subject which is given significant importance. As a group which employs over 500 employees, we give considerable importance to training across all levels of personnel."
