Mepa's eyesore at L-Istazzjon bridge

I was really disgusted, to say the least, that Mepa proudly (see photo) sealed off an area at the beginning of l-Istazzjon bridge. Not only was it sealed with huge concrete blocks that do not blend with the rubble wall (which incidentally Mepa itself objected to it when the Mtarfa bypass was being built), but Mepa left all the rubble dumped irresponsibly in this picturesque area.

I urge Mepa officials to take a trip on the train which tours Mdina and Rabat via Mtarfa, to see for themselves the tourist product we are trying to sell! Mario de Marco please note.
