George Abela wins libel case
President-elect George Abela has been awarded €2,000 after a court this morning upheld a libel complaint against GWU official Carmelo (Charles) Vella over an article published in l-orizzont in August 2004.
The article was entitled Il-Kwistjoni tal-Konferenza Generali Straordinarja tat-Taqsima Settur Pubbliku - Aktar rapportagg zleali mill-media tal-PN.
It was based on a statement, which had also been circulated to the media, which the court said made false and libellous allegations about Dr Abela.

Your comments clearly show you're already convinced Joseph Muscat will be PM of Malta in the coming elections.
