Nigerian national Ezechukwu Prince Okeke, 25, a resident of Marsascala, this morning pleaded not guilty to the possession and trafficking of cocaine.

He was taken to court after the police said yesterday that 600 grams of cocaine were found in his kitchen cupboard.

He was remanded in custody.

In another case, Stephen Borg 31, of Birkirkara pleaded not guilty to possession and trafficking of cocaine on March 27 and committing the crime close to a school.

The court denied him bail and ordered his assets to be frozen.
