The Ta' Pinu Sanctuary museum was open to the public last Sunday. After each Mass, the rector, Fr Gerard Buhagiar, invited the congregation to visit the museum.

On display are 20 recently restored paintings by Emvin Cremona and vestment used by Pope John Paul II when he visited the sanctuary in 1990. Also on display are objets d'art and documents connected with Ta' Pinu Sanctuary. The museum is opened daily between 9.30 a.m. and noon. Entrance is free. Donations towards the up keep of the sanctuary will be appreciated.

Plans to restore a set of paintings by Guseppe Briffa are in the pipeline.
