Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malta has launched this year's edition of its Best Business Plan Competition. Originally launched in 2002, the competition has helped launch several new enterprises.
Supported by HSBC Bank Malta plc, KPMG, the Mentoring Society, Curmi and Partners and Misco, the competition gives participants the opportunity to be trained, mentored and guided by experts and established entrepreneurs.
Young aspiring entrepreneurs may test and develop ideas and transform them into a concrete business plan. Judges will be looking for innovative ideas and for the best plan. The winner receives a cash prize of €2,500; the first runner-up €600. All business plans submitted will be nominated by JCI Malta to JCI's International Best Business Plan competition next year.
The winner of the international competition can win $5,000.
For more information and application forms, visit the JCI website at www.jci.org.mt, e-mail charlotte.gregory@jci.org.mt or call 9944 7278. Submissions must be made by April 15.
