MICALLEF. On March 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA VICTORIA of Birkirkara, residing at Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieha, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Jane, Charles and his wife Carmelina and Lily, widow of Guzi, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.15 p.m. for Valley Road, Birkirkara (near St Paul church), from where the St Helen Band will accompany the funeral to St Helen Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SALOMONE REYNAUD. On March 25, at Gozo General Hospital, HELEN, aged 57, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss Ewen, Mary Rose and her husband Noel, John and his wife Josette, her nephews and nieces Simon, Alison, Andrew, Gavin, Lynne and Rebecca, her cousins and her numerous friends in Malta and Gozo. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 3.30 p.m. for St Paul church, Marsalforn, Gozo, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m., followed by interment at St Mary Cemetery, Xewkija, limits of Rabat. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Requiem Masses

Tomorrow's 10 a.m. Mass at The Holy Family parish church, Iklin, will be offered in memory of SERGIO GHIRLANDO.

Tomorrow being the 22nd anniversary of the death of MARIKA NAUDI, née Hili, a Mass for the repose of her soul will be said tomorrow at 6.30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ta' l-Ibrag, St Andrew's. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

Roadworks

Roadworks in Triq l-Assedju l-Kbir, Floriana, from the Phoenicia Hotel towards the Excelsior Hotel, will be carried out from April 6 until further notice. Parking will not be allowed on both sides of the road and two-way traffic will not be impeded. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
