Ericsson 3 wins leg five of Volvo Ocean Race

Volvo Ocean Race entry Ericsson 3 arrives at Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro yesterday. Swedish skipper Magnus Olsson and his men officially crossed the finish line at 10:37:57 GMT to win the fifth leg of the 2008-09 Volvo Ocean Race. "It has been a big leg, too big to get philosophical about now," Ericsson 3 navigator Aksel Magdahl said hours before the yacht sailed into Guanabara Bay. "But one thing is sure, that everyone gave their best the whole way, and you can see now how impressed everyone are about all the other team members."
