JCI launches Best Business Plan Competition 2009

Junior Chamber International Malta has launched the Best Business Plan Competition for 2009.

The competition was first launched by JCI Malta in 2002 and since then has helped to launch several new enterprises.

It is being supported by HSBC Bank Malta plc and KPMG as well as the Mentoring Society, Curmi and Partners and Misco.

The competition gives the participants the opportunity to be trained, mentored and guided by experts and established entrepreneurs.

This is the opportunity for the ever increasing young potential entrepreneurs to test and develop their ideas, to transform a great idea into a concrete business plan. The judges will be looking for innovative ideas and for the best drawn business plan amongst other things.

This is a challenging opportunity for young entrepreneurs to compete locally for an award recognising the most innovative and well drawn-up business plan.

The JCI Malta's BBP is available to a wider audience and is open to individuals as well as groups.

The aim of the Best Business Plan competition is to encourage a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among Maltese young leaders and entrepreneurs.

This is in line with JCI Malta's vision, to be a platform for young leaders to learn, meet and grow with the aim of creating positive change in today's society.

The winner of the competition will receive the prize money of €2500.00, whilst the first runner up will receive €600.00.

Also all the business plans will be nominated by JCI Malta to JCI's International Best Business Plan competition of 2010. The winner of the international competition can win a further $500.00.

For more information about the competition and application forms, one may visit the JCI website www.jci.org.mt, send an email to charlotte.gregory@jci.org.mt or contact by phone on 9944 7278. The submission deadline is April 15.
