My wife and I are visiting Malta for the first time. We are here until April 2. She had a friend called Rose Schembri of 36, Lampuka Street, Paola around 1960, with whom she lost contact when we were married in 1965. My wife's maiden name was Jeanne...

My wife and I are visiting Malta for the first time. We are here until April 2. She had a friend called Rose Schembri of 36, Lampuka Street, Paola around 1960, with whom she lost contact when we were married in 1965.

My wife's maiden name was Jeanne Gregson of Accrington in Lancashire, her married surname is Danson and we are staying at the Paradise Bay Hotel.

We were in Paola the other day and we were advised that The Times may be of assistance in establishing whether Ms Schembri remembers my wife and any correspondence.
