Grand Harbour Marina has reported a loss after tax of €410,848 for the year ending December 31 compared to a profit of €3.9 million in the previous year.

The company in a statement said that during 2008 is concluded the grant of superyacht berths for long term use for a consideration of €1.0 million compared to €10 million for 2007.

Pontoon fees and revenue from ancillary services during 2008 grew from €1.1 million to €1.4 million, an increase of 28 percent over 2007.

The company made a loss from operating activities of €241,718 compared to a profit of €7.04 million in the previous year.

The directors are not recommending a dividend.
