The police are investigating an arson attack that occurred early yesterday morning in Triq Tumas Fenech, Qormi.

They said a tyre was placed against the front door of a residence and covered with a flammable liquid before it was set alight.

No one was hurt and the fire had already been put out when the police arrived. The duty magistrate opened an inquiry.
