Sant privilege complaint settled
The breach of privilege complaint raised by former opposition leader Alfred Sant against Infrastructure, Transport and Communications Minister Austin Gatt has been settled.
After five sittings of the House Privileges Committee, Speaker Louis Galea, chairing, announced that a solution had been found through a declaration that was deemed acceptable to both sides.
He will now report to the House plenary session, tabling a copy of the declaration.

I hope that the declaration would be in plain common language and no twisting of words would be used.
