According to a report in The Times (March 13), "the Roman remains and chapel in San Pawl Milqi in Burmarrad will be open to the public on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in a special event being organised by Heritage Malta" (my italics).

Those who turned up at San Pawl Milqi on Sunday, however, were surprised to find that they were asked to pay an entrance fee of €4 per person. This was not mentioned in the newspaper report.

One would have thought that this "special event" was intended to promote our cultural heritage and increase public awareness of it.

One also asks Heritage Malta to describe the "special event" it has "organised" on this site.
