Following its accreditation as a training centre for accountancy body CIMA, MIM is now offering the Certificate in Islamic Finance. This certificate is valuable for newcomers to Islamic finance as well as financial professionals seeking accreditation and qualification in this field.

It is designed to give the professional recognition of a CIMA international qualification and demonstrable expertise in the complex, fast-growing world of Islamic finance.

The MIM is the first entity in Malta to spearhead Islamic Finance in Malta. This accreditation is another step towards the vision of Malta becoming an international Islamic Finance centre.

The statements made by Vatican newspaper Osservatore Romano endorses MIM's vision on Islamic Finance in Malta. Malta should accelerate even further its momentum to attract Islamic finance institutions. The issuance of a Sukuk by the Malta Government would give the quantum leap the island requires.
