The Maltese-owned European Institute of Education has welcomed its first group of students on its University of Technology and Business campus in Cˇeské Budeˇjovice in the Czech Republic.

The group consists of 17 students from Nepal; six have opted for a Diploma in Management while 11 are studying for an Advanced Certificate in Management.

The students were welcomed by Petr Petr, head of EIE Czech Republic and Nicholas Sammut, head of the International Office at EIE.

The students will lodge on campus with easy access to a variety of facilities which include a gymnasium, indoor and outdoor football grounds, and a fitness centre.
