Press body raises case of unpaid journalists

A television producer has not paid journalists for their contribution to a programme, the Institute of Maltese Journalists said. The IĠM said that among those caught up in this "regrettable situation" were editors, journalists, producers and cameramen.

The IĠM said that among those caught up in this "regrettable situation" were editors, journalists, producers and cameramen. It said its attention was drawn to "certain companies" that committed themselves to produce a type of programme but delivered another, then switched stations, leaving a trail of debt and unpaid bills.
