Out of 1,848 patients admitted to Mater Dei Hospital last January for medical or cardiac care, 68 were readmitted within seven days, Social Policy Minister John Dalli said in reply to a parliamentary question by Jean Pierre Farrugia (PN). Most of the readmitted patients (22) were between 75 and 84 years old.
