The Labour Party will be organising another day for those who would like to join their court case against the government's refusal to refund VAT charged on vehicle registration tax.

Those who would like to subscribe, and were not able to do so last weekend, can do so this Saturday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the party's headquarters in Ħamrun, the PL said yesterday.

Last Saturday, thousands queued outside its headquarters to sign up for the court case. Some 14,000 applicants were processed.

The campaign was launched after European Union Commissioner Laszlo Kovacs said VAT should not have been charged on registration tax.

However, the goverment insists that only the European Court can decide the issue.
