The top three teams in the women's National League continued with their march at the top positions of the standings following comfortable victories over their rivals from the lower end of the standings.
Hibs Medsea, the current leaders, maintained their unbeaten run after beating Athleta Honey while second-placed Depiro McDonald's chalked up another victory this time at the expense of St James Hospital.
Ergon Project Luxol consolidated their third place with a win over lowly Empire Cinema Stunners.
Champions Hibs raced off to a good start against Athleta but reduced the tempo as the minutes ticked away, allowing their opponents to come more into the picture.
At the end of the first quarter Hibs enjoyed a 19-2 lead, increasing their advantage to 34-14 at half-time.
Athleta had the better start after the interval but after reducing the gap to 41-29, Hibs applied an extra gear to put the issue beyond doubt for a 66-45 victory.
Depiro, with Kalia Agius again running the show with 24 points, never gave St James the chance to settle down. Charles Bonnici's girls started pulling away after the opening minutes and enjoyed a 53-21 half-time lead. Depiro continued to be the better team until the final whistle for a 95-45 victory.
Meanwhile, Luxol showed their true mettle in the opening quarter of their match against Stunners to pave the way for a 60-46 victory.
Luxol piled the pressure from the jump-ball to open a 16-4 lead. After falling further behind 29-10, Stunners, still without a win this season, did up their game but to no avail as Luxol were already home and dry.
Standings: Hibs 28 (14-0), Depiro 25 (11-3), Luxol 24 (10-4), St James 19 (5-9), Athleta 17 (3-11), Stunners 14 (0-14).
