The British Culture Association held a 'Write and Be Published 2009' workshop for sixth form students of English at Gian Franġisk Abela Junior College, Msida.

The event aimed to prepare the students from Junior College, Msida, De La Salle College, Cottenera, St Martin's Sixth Form, Swatar, St Aloysius' College, Birkirkara, and Giovanni Curmi Upper Secondary, Naxxar, for the BCA's 'Write and Be Published 2009' competition.

Sessions were led by local journalists on TV/radio script writing, news report writing and investigative news reporting.

The winners of the competition will receive the Strickland Foundation Award and their entries will be published in the local media.
