• A special St Patrick's Day Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick's church, Sliema, on Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. for the Irish community and their friends. Visitors are welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

• The Pinto Band Club will be holding a 'Totally 80s' night at the club's premises in Qormi on Wednesday from 8.30 p.m., featuring special guest Alex ('Reflex') Grech. There will be an open bar for €25.

• A prayer meeting for peace and new evangelisation organised by the International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope John XXIII, will be held at Sarria church basement chapel, Floriana, on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Men or women planning to marry a non-Maltese or a Maltese migrant are invited to attend a series of nine talks delivered by social, medical, legal and ethical experts at the Emigrants' Commission every Tuesday and Thursday as from April 16, between 6 and 7 p.m., at Dar l-Emigrant, Castille Place, Valletta.
