The Gozo area in HSBC has received the Bank's Area Award for Best Customer Service. This is the second time HSBC's Gozo area received the award for its service during 2008.

The title is awarded on the merits received through a bi-annual customer satisfaction survey compiled by HSBC's customers. Runners-up were the Bank's central area in Malta.

"While I congratulate area director for Gozo Richard Mercieca and his teams in the Victoria branch and Nadur and Xagħra agencies for their excellent results, I express my satisfaction at the overall results of the survey across the whole branch network which once again reflect a very high service quality throughout," HSBC head of channel management Ray Briffa said.
