Increased demand for quality education

St Edward's College, Cottonera, has had to open another Year 1 class to cater for the increasing demand and places for its kindergarten are being filled at a rapid rate through to 2010/11 scholastic year.

This was announced by headmaster Michael Chittenden at an Open Day held on March 6. He attributed the rising interest in the college, despite the economic downturn, to the increased demand for quality education generally, and the fact that the college is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate diploma, the single most recognised inter-national 6th Form qualification in the world.
