Go plc
Go plc recently sponsored some intriguing story books for the school library at Hookham Frere primary school, Pietà, one of the educational institutions forming part of the San Ġorġ Preca College learning project.
The library is run by a team of dedicated parents who play an active role in enhancing the reading experience for children attending the school. In a relatively short time, the school has succeeded in introducing an avant-garde approach to learning. Housed in the extensive former gardens of late philanthropist and scholar, John Hookham Frere, the state school caters for children ages three to 10.
The sponsorship was presented by Go's manager for sponsorships and corporate social responsibility Maria Jourdan to school head Xavier Chircop during a visit to the school.
