Upim to open four stores in Malta

Michele Peresso Group has signed a collaboration agreement with Upim srl of Italy to open four establishments in Malta and Gozo. The group will be investing €6 million in the next few years.

More than 55 jobs will be created, 10 of which have already been designated to the Gozo store at The Duke Shopping Mall in Victoria which opened yesterday. The agreement stipulates that applicants for the Gozo store should be residents.

Upim in Italy is a household brand. The company has five departments: Upim women, men, children, home and perfumery. A free-gift-with-every-purchase campaign is valid until March 31. Moreover, in line with government awareness to safeguard the environment, Upim will be distributing free trendy, re-usable, environmental-friendly bags with every purchase.

Upim will also introduce a Loyalty Card for all customers from the first day of opening.
