The government said there was a strong and positive response to its latest stock issue.

A total of 3,567 applications were received with a value of more than €242 million, dwarfing the value of €25 million of the two stock offers.

All subscriptions by individuals, which amounted to €55,347,400, were accepted whereas offers by institutional investors were allotted in the order of bid price offered.
