Obituary

AQUILINA. On March 11, at his residence, SAVIOUR of Siġġiewi, aged 36, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents Charles and Mary, his sister Antoinette and her husband Jason, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Nicholas parish church, Siġġiewi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family vault at Siġġiewi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

GIORGIO. On March 12, RICHARD W., aged 65, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Ita, his daughter Roberta and her husband Martin Borg, his sons Paul and fiancée Tasha Vella, Mark, his sister Maud and her husband Alex Eminyan, his brother Oliver and his wife Josephine, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.15 p.m. for the parish church of Mary Immaculate at Ta' l-Ibraġ where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

MOORE. On March 11, at Villa M.SSma Annunziata, Balzan, Sister ROSE of the Sisters of Charity, aged 100, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, her brother Henry, and her sister Ethel of England, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated today at 9 a.m. at the Sisters of Charity convent chapel, Balzan, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

MUSCAT. On March 12, MARIA CARMELA of Lija, aged 84, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Doris, her sister-in-law Elsie, her nephews Christopher and his wife Marianne, Stephen and his wife Claudine, Carmel and his wife Karen, Hubert and his wife Fedora, Ivan and his wife Abigail, her nieces Marie Claire and her husband Aaron, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 3.45 p.m. at Lija parish church, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

Requiem Mass

Being the first anniversary of the death of our beloved RAYMOND JOHN DAVIES, the 6.30 p.m. Mass said at St Publius parish church, Floriana, will be offered for the repose of his soul. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.

BARBARA. Much cherished and unfading memories of our dearest and loving LAURA, a dear wife, mother and grandmother, on the 16th anniversary of her sudden death. Deeply loved and so sadly missed by her husband Sydney, her daughters Marthese and her husband Victor Cauchi, Elizabeth Anne and her husband John Pullicino, Angele and her husband Mark Scicluna, her grandchildren, relatives and friends.
