The election season started.:Inaugurations. But Gonzi is whole heartedly in favour of families paying inflated W & E bills. He said in Parliment. "Nivvota bil-qalb" against the L.P. motion to lower the W & E charges retroactively. That phrase should be framed in every household to be remembered come the occasion.

@ G.Saliba I'm not in favour of the repeater class as you suggest........but what's the use of having to set 4 different exam papers for the same form. By that we are still having children that aren't achieving........and they are still well behind others. That's the probems we have to tackle. Also education is a national issue and this should be tackled with all concerned and not having different governments trying new things on our children. So, it's best that everyone involved, governemnt, oppossition, mut sits round a table and come out with an agreed upon agenda for our education.

No opportunity is lost by our PM to appear on TV and get some space in newspapers. Although one would think a PM should be busy tackling more urgent and important issues like ..... where shall I start.... Anyway some positive PR like this is much better than being always on the defensive having to justify things that are unjustifiable.

It appears that Mr. Borg is in favour of the repeat class. One can smell some people from miles away.

Well done Dr.Gonzi.....new schools are good....but care has to be taken as to what are we teaching our children. It's useless having the inclusion system and then we have children who are still not gettting the grasp of what they are being taught. Why is it that we are having to set 4 different exam papers for the same form....is it so that we after can boast that children are doing well. Some children don't get the grasp of subjects and friends of mine told me that it took them one whole lesson so as to go through one example in a maths lesson. is this the type of children we want?????
