The Infrastructure Ministry has announced a second reduction in the prices of petrol, diesel and other fuels in the space of two months.

At the start of this scholastic year school transport fees were considerably increased by private operators based on the then marked increase in fuel costs. Many parents were faced with no other option but to pay. In view of the changing scenario favouring a lower cost of fuels, it is now hoped that the same operators will review the situation and accordingly lower their fees in a fair and realistic manner.
