Obituary
CALLEJA. On March 11, JOSEPH of Sliema, widower of Maria, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughters Terry, Mary Rose and Mimi, his son John, their spouses, nephews, nieces and great-granddaughter, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
DEBONO. On March 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, TERESA, aged 95, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Paul and his wife Melita and Joe and his wife Dorothy, her beloved grandchildren Caroline and her husband Kevin, Sonia, Jade and her husband Kevin, Denis and his wife Miriam, David and his wife Jacqueline, Carl James and his wife Ilona, Anna Marie, her devoted niece Marianne, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9 a.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
Requiem Mass
A Mass for the repose of the soul of ARTHUR CLARE will be celebrated tomorrow at 7 p.m. at St Patrick's church, Sliema. Family and friends are cordially invited.

Ta' Braxia group
The annual general meeting of Din l-Art Ħelwa Friends of Ta' Braxia group will be held at the Cemetery Memorial Chapel at Ta' Braxia on April 1 at 11 a.m. Members are urged to attend.
Lenten talks
Lenten talks organised by the group Gi Fra Floriana will take place at Capuchins Centre, in Floriana between March 23 and 27 at 8 p.m., They will be open to young people aged 18 and over.
Marriage talks
The Emigrants' Commission will hold a series of nine talks for young people marrying a foreigner starting on April 16, at Dar l-Emigrant, Castile Place, Valletta. The sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. with the participation of social, medical, legal and ethical experts. Participants will be given a certificate to be presented with other documents to the Marriages Office of the Archbishop's Curia when the couple apply to get married. Mental health conference
The Mental Health Association will hold a conference on children of parents affected by mental illness, entitled Mental Illness In The Family - Our Hidden Secret, on March 27 at Robert Sammut Hall, Floriana from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. The price is €7 for family members and €10 for professionals.
