Seminar to discuss document management tools

Infomate Group, a well established group of ICT companies in Malta, in partnership with Invu, the fastest growing digital document management company in Europe, will be hosting a half day seminar next Tuesday on document management tools. It will be held at the Malta Institute of Accounting's new premises in Swatar Business Tower.

Most accountants are faced with the time-consuming exercise of managing a non-stop avalanche of documents. Each day, correspondence, both paper-based and in digital format, pour in and out of their organisation. Document management tools are needed to address this problem and give them back time to focus not only on the job in hand, but also to enable them to locate, audit and share documents at a click of a button instead of searching through piles of paperwork.

Document Management solutions have been on the market for a number of years, but up to now many of them were out of reach for small-to-medium enterprises. Prices have now come down to such a level that a sophisticated, easy-to-use EDM system can cost as little as €1 a day per user, bringing it into the grasp of the smallest firms and within easy access even to individual practitioners, Infomate said.
