A trail-blazing new product launched this week in the UK will revolutionise car care for motorists, car enthusiasts and professional valeters. Autoglym's 'Perfect Palm' is a lightweight, ergonomic device for the application of cleaning and polishing products which 'self-grips' to the fingers of the hand.

In development since 2004, Perfect Palm is available in two versions.

The Perfect Palm applicator features a foam pad which evenly delivers cleaning products to a car's bodywork, glass or upholstery. The surface of the Perfect Palm microfibre leaves a streak- and smear-free finish.

The devices are covered by 34 UK patent applications and four international applications into all major global markets.

"These products will help our customers - whether once-a-month car washers, serious car enthusiasts or professional valeters - to enjoy maximum performance from our car care range with far less physical effort," Paul Caller, Autoglym's CEO, said.

"The concept is very simple. Customers will soon wonder how they ever cleaned cars without them."
