Launch of Lifecycle

The 11th Lifecycle Challenge will be launched on Thursday - World Kidney Day.

The Lifecycle Challenge takes place every year to raise awareness and generate support for patients suffering from end-stage renal disease. During the gruelling event, a team of Maltese cyclists will cover approximately 2,000 km through various European countries in 10 days this summer.

The Lifecycle organisation hopes to raise funds for high-tech equipment to upgrade the Renal Unit at Mater Dei Hospital and raise the quality of life of renal patients by giving them access to the highest levels of care.
