I bet that some of the regrets by our Prime Minister includes the pot hole galore along Malta's roads! We should give the "Gieh Ir-Republika" the ADT and its CEO's for filling up Malta's coffers with the euros from speed camers; in the meantime business in shock absorbers and new hubs and wheels isd still roaring!

Silly people all of us..! Did we ever believe our dear old minister was really going to do anything serious about the potholes. Come on .. They were too busy planning the next speed cameras. After all potholes do not generate revenue for them. And if the ministerial car happens to drive over one... no problem , taxpayers will get them a new one, and they do not have to pay either registration or vat thereon.

Tariffs go up according to the number of potholes cubed (to the power of three)

I have written about the state of Senglea waterfront and St. Paul's Street between Senglea and Cospicua the latter I described as a no man's land and it seems I was proven right as they are in the same miserable state they werein before the war on potholes was declared! there has been a feeble attempt by the local council to remedy the plight of the waterfront but this only consisted in filling of the worst potholes and leaving the 'passable' ones intact. Now i wish to add Two Gates Street to the least especially in front of the clinic.

What amazes me, is the fact that most of the potholes are caused by bad repairs done by WSC staff, Councils ignore the facts, that by insisting that WSC do the repairs correctly would remove the problem of many potholes & sunken trenches at no expense to the council, WSC would then begin to instruct their workmen to do adequate repairs or lose the job. Do it right first time! QED.

True, our enemy 'Potholes' have won. Sliema Road, did escape the War. The upper half anyway. Road in San Gwann Industrial Estate. This road was not on the 'attackers' list.
The road [both carraige ways, from St. Venera roundabout up to the traffic lights near the MFS buildings, also won, as it was not effected by the said 'war'. Insomma I have lost all hope in seeing ALL our streets/roads properly surfurced as they should be, and as we were promised by the PN Govt.
