Romanian jailed for credit card fraud
A Romanian was this morning jailed for three years after pleading guilty to credit card fraud.
Police Inspector Ian Abdilla said that Catalin Tarhon, 27, of Msida was caught on CCTV.

It is possible to deport eu citizens.
The only limitation is that they are not banned from entering the country for life, but I guess 99 years would be enough.

Lucky to get just 3 years !!!! Should have got 10 years + BOOT CAMP !!!! This will discourage any other foreign scoundrels who may have any plans to do likewise !!!

AS far as I know. it's not possible to Deport EU citizens.

Very well done to the forces involved.... BUT....
this chap will now cost me and you €76,507.65 over his three years (and this was prior to September 2008) to feed lodge dress wash etc when I'm sure shipping him off to his country of birth with a ban on ever entering our country again would have been miles cheaper.
food for thought .... not for him !!!
